The majority of the world believe Hinduism, to be a religion of worship of many gods through many rituals. According to Acharya Shree, Hinduism being a religion, is a big misconception. He states that Hindu is a culture, but because Indians have integrated religion too much into their culture, its difficult to see the difference. There are thousands of religions in India, but unfortunately have been termed under the one umbrella of a label, Hinduism. The truth is, Hindu is associated with culture, and not religion.
